The beginning of the exercise. It does not necessarily imply the presence of participants. Usually, this part consists of exchanging information and the fictitious scenario begins to run with. Government priorities are given. It is time to fix the main and secondary military objectives.

The “real” exercise. In this part, members of the exercise, both military and civilians, assume the control of the situation by developing their previous training in a real way. Air Combat Command monitors the exercise and makes the information flow (go and back) in order to let units face their INPUTs and resolve them in accordance with the TTPs and the objectives.

The end of the exercise. It is time to check how the exercise was developed. Were objectives and priorities achieved? How were they executed? Why were the objectives not achieved? Are TTPs effective?Is there something to change or to improve? What are our weak points where they can improve?
