Simple past tense Match the information: The pronunciation of the ending (-ed) in the simple past: I visited Tamatan Zoo last weekend. Tamatan is an interesting place. We loved the newly residents of the zoo. My neighbor José worked in Tamatan Zoo two years ago. We were very happy to visit the zoo. Match both columns: review the written rules (R1, R2, R3, R4) of the simple past tense (-ed). R1: add -ed to the end of the verb. R2: the verb ends in /e/. So, we only add /-d/. R3: the verb ends in /y/; so we change /y/ to /i/ and add -ed. R4: we double the final consonant when the verb ends in a vowel + consonant ending. Ordene la frase correctamente: get A+. an tried she harder, She but couldn´t. |
