How is the feedback supplied for the variable bleed valve system?. Proximity switches on each VBV providing position information to the ECU. A single RVDT on the unison ring providing VBV position to the ECU. A single LVDT in each VBV actuator providing VBV position to the ECU.

How is the feedback signal provided for the variable stator vane system?. Proximity switches on each VSV providing position information to the ECU. A single RVDT on each actuation lever providing VSV position to the ECU. A single LVDT in each VSV actuator providing VSV position to the ECU.

When does the "REV INHIBITED" message shows on the engine warning display?. The thrust reversers have been locked in the stowed position by maintenance. The thrust reversers have been deployed on ground using the MCDU method. EEC is operating in the degraded N1 mode instead of the EPR mode.

How are the ignition leads cooled?. Fan air cooled at the combustion case boss ONLY (with a shroud assembly). Not air cooled. Fan air cooled along the entire length.

What will occur if the ENG MAN START P/B switch is released before the ENG MASTER switch is set ON during a manual start?: EEC initiates a 30 second motoring of the engine before closing the starter control valve. The starter control valve closes and abort the start. There is no effect on the start sequence.
